Emmanuel joined Fluxus Ventures in September 2021 as a Managing Partner.
Emmanuel has 30 years of experience in real estate and investment banking in London, New York, Paris and Brussels. He has been advising and financing leading property companies and is particularly interested in sustainability and technology developments. He has a well-established board experience and is teaching at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management. He is a member of the ULI Sustainability Council.
Until September 2021, Emmanuel Verhoosel was the Global Head of Real Estate and Hospitality at Natixis. He was previously on the board of ING Belgium and a regional CEO in Europe for ING Wholesale Banking. He spent 15 years at JPMorgan in London before this, at which time he met John van Oost while advising him on an IPO of a REIT in Germany. Emmanuel started his career as a lawyer with Linklaters.

John has 30 years of experience in real estate and venture capital.
Before launching Fluxus Ventures in 2015, John was the founder and managing partner of Captiva Capital Management that raised more than €3.8B of equity capital from global institutional investors to incubate and fund 9 real estate platforms in 4 European countries and Singapore. These platforms acquired and managed more than 1,800 properties worth in excess of €13.2B. John also co-founded Alstria Office AG, a large German REIT that owns 110 office buildings worth in excess of €4.6B.

Mark has over 10 years of experience in real estate and investment in Jakarta, Singapore and Paris. He started his career in operational planning and logistics for a rising palm oil plantations company (TAPG:JKT). Thereafter, he moved to private equity real estate and proptech venture capital investment with Fluxus Ventures group.
Having had key roles in creating more than USD 100M worth of new ventures, he is currently focusing on growing Square Sense, one of Fluxus Ventures’ original startup. His role at Square Sense is to build data-driven SaaS solutions to address institutional real estate asset management goals

Master of Business Administration from INSEAD (expected Q1 2023), Master of Management in Finance from Prasetiya Mulya Business School, Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Bandung Institute of Technology.
Jon has over 5 years of experience in venture capital, with a focus on funding promising companies in the proptech, smart city, and green building spaces. Since the launch of Fluxus Ventures, Jon has led many aspects of the Fluxus early-stage investment fund including investment sourcing, diligence, and portfolio management.
Prior to cofounding Fluxus Ventures, Jon obtained his PhD at Stanford University. His thesis work helped elucidate how to improve the performance of organic solar cells. During his five years of research at Stanford, Jon authored (or co-author) 15 scientific publications which have garnered over 2,500 citations.

PhD and Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering with Highest Honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Jose has more than 5 years of experience advising Real Estate funds on assets’ transformation. With a strong focus on innovative usages as well as social and environmental projects. Previously to working on Real Estate, he has proven experience as a facade and structural engineer working on large scale projects.

MsC in Industrial Engineering with a Major in structural engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and Bachelor of Architecture from the École Nationale d’Architecture Paris-Malaquais.
Pablo has over 8 years of experience in corporate finance and real estate. Prior to joining Fluxus Ventures in July 2020, Pablo was the Spanish head of asset management at Rialto Capital Management where he was in charge of managing and divesting a €200m portfolio of residential assets. He took a leading role in the transformation and sale of the first three coliving buildings opened in Spain as well as in the sourcing and underwriting of several pan-European opportunities. Before joining Rialto, he worked as an associate at Colliers International (formerly irea), where he participated on the transaction of various NPL portfolios with a total par value of over €6bn and helped local developers to find debt and equity financing for the development of residential compounds.
